The NFWSD was founded in 1980 and presently has approx 50 members We are a diverse keen group of weavers spinners and dyers beginners to experts young and old who all share a love of textiles and desire to learn.. We meet at Greyfriars Community Centre in Ringwood on the second Saturday of every month (except August). We are affiliated to the National Association of Guilds of Weavers Spinners and Dyers and share its aims of preserving and promoting our core skills of weaving spinning and dyeing to improve the standard of these crafts and encourage public awareness.

This year we are very excited to be able to announce we will be running a Toddler Quiet Zone from the pre school throughout the Cuckoo Fair.

Families can enter via the gate in the Memorial gardens where their children can enjoy some quiet time away from the fair. Under 5’s only (siblings welcome) £2 per child for a 20 minute session. (Children will remain the responsibility of their adults throughout their session).

Tea, coffee and cake will also be available to purchase.

Freemasonry is active in Wiltshire through 44 lodges (belonging to the masonic province of Wiltshire) which meet in centres around the county, from Swindon and Highworth in the North, Downton in the South, Marlborough in the East and Bradford-on-Avon in the West.
